The comin/nation with :L drive rope drinn and its power mechanism, the latter being provided with .a moet?, of a trip lever pivoted at one end and having connection with the ent-ofi' and provided With a de'- pending extension at its opposite end, and a U-shaped frame pivotally supported with its lower Cross bar transversely above and in close proximity to the rope drum to swing in the direction of movement of the rope, said Ytrame consisting of depending tubular rods and a U e, raped bar having its legs adjustably secured in the lower ends of the said supports, and a roller carried by the ii'rame and normally supporting the depend; ing extension et' the trip lever, all for the purpose described. l
The combination with a drive rope drinn and its pov-fer mechanism, the latter or which is provided 'ith a. eut-off, of a trip lever pivoted at one end above the power mechanism and having connection adjacent its pivoted end rwith the cut-oil', and a iframe pivotally supported transversely above the drive rope drum and pro vided with a cross bar adjacent to said drum and adjustable toward and away from the same said frame normally forming a direct support for the free end of the trip lever and being movable in the direction of movement of the rope, all for the purpose dcscribed.
3. The combination with a drive rope drum and its power mechanism, the latter of which is provided with a eut-oil', of a swinging frame movable in the direction of movement of the rope and having` a cross bar adjacent to and transversely above the drum, a trip lever pivoted at one end above the power mechanism and having its free end normally disposed directly on and snpported by the said swinging frame, and an operative connection between the said trip lever and the cut-oft' of the power mechanism, all for the purpose described.
