'It is within the scope of ,the invention to improve generally and to increase the utility of, devices of that type to which the present invention appertains.
With the above and other objects in view Which will appear as ythe description proceeds, the invention residesin the combination and arrangement of parts and in the details of construction hereinafter described and claimed, it being understood that changes in the precise embodiment of the invention herein disclosed can be 'made within the scope of what is claimed Without departing from At-he spirit of the invent-ion.

The silo herein disclosed comprisesin inner Wall l, preferably made up of upright boards 2, tongued and grooved together as indicated at 3. Disposed upon the outside of the inner Wall 1 is a filler 4 which may be fashioned from felt, paper or vthe like, or from some other material which is a good insulator of heat. Superposed upon the filler 4 is an outer Wall 5, the same preferably comprisingl upright boards (3, tongued and grooved together as indicated at 7, the boards 6 of the outer Wall 5 being disposed in lap-joint relation to the boards 3 of the inner Wall 1..
The silo is preferably of`octagonal form to facilitate the building ofthe roof (not siovvn). Further, owing to the Octagon-al form of the silo, the'saine may readily be built of true and upright form, so as to rest properly upon the supporting foundation 8 which preferably is fashioned from concrete. Embedded in the foundation 8 are anchors 9 each anchor being connected as at 1S with a fpedestal 17. In transverse section, the

Applied to the side faces of the pedestals 17 are uprights 19 which ma be angle mein bers, one flange of each ang e member lying along the outer face of the outer wall 5. Bolts 20 pass through the lower ends of the uprights 19 and through openings formed inthe pedestal 17. Posts Q1 are supported upon the upper ends of the pedestals 17, bey tween theuprights 19. The posts 21 are of Wedve shape inl cross section, andcorrespond to the pedestals 17 in cross section. The posts 2-1 are held in place by bolts 22 which,
as clearly shown in Fig. 2, pass through the outwardly projecting anges of the uprights 19.
Retaining bars 23 extend between the posts 19, the retaining bars 23 being recessed in their rear edges, to receive the rear flanges of the uprights 19, as will be best understood from Fig. :2. Bolts 24, appearing in Fig. 1,
