residing at Lemberg, Austriz'vHungary, have invented a new and useful Improvement in (lasificat-ion Apparatus, of which the following a specification.
My invention relates to gasification apparatus, used for instance in connection with combustion engines and has for its object to bring about a quick gasitication ot' the fuel, thus permitting the use oi not easily volatile fuels. such as kerosene. Owing to the slow ga "lication of these fuels, all attempts herelo't'orc to use the same for operating combusstance. the driver of an automobile, from his scat in the frontot his car, may put into operation. stop and regulate the flow of the fuel into the gasitication apparatus of the combustion engine of his car.
My invention will be fully described hereiratter and the features of novelty will be pointed out in the appended claim.
My invention is illustrated in the annexed drawing which shows a. gasification apparatus, in. longitudinal section, such as may be used in connection with the combustion engine of an automobile.
As illustrated in the drawing 1 designates the casing. screw-threaded at, the bottom to rcceivc the screws by which the bottom plate 3 of the casing'is fastened thereto. The interior of said casing is divided into an inner. gas chamber 15 within the closed partition wall l, and an outer air chamber a be tween the casing 1 and the said partition wall 4-, which outer chamber connects with the atmosphere through holes in the said casing 1, \vflnch holes maybe partially or completely closed by the slide valve 12. Said partition wall 4, which as illustrated is of cylindrical shape, is preferably formed by a continuous pipe coil in which the several pipe lengths are acent to-each othenwhile the ends of said pipe coil pass through said bottom plate 3 and connect with the exhaust \Vi'thin said inner F pipes of the engine.

Above the plate 5, in the cover of the casing 1, is located the feeding device for the liquid fuel. This device, as illustrated, consists of the valve pin 9, visible through the sight glass 8, and connected with a valve cone 7 which may be raised and lowered by means of thevalve spindle 11. axially adjustable within the valve body 10, the latter being suitably connected with a source of fuel supply.
