lMPROVEMENT IN SPRING SEATS FOR'VEHICLES..

elliptic spring-wagon, and supported by straps running to the bottom of the springs ou the wagon, for
`the purpose of holding the body from rocking forward and backward.
In order to enable others skilled in the art' to which our' invention appertains to make and use the same, we will now proceed to describe its construction andv operation, referring to the annexed drawing, which represents a side -view of a wagon-body with our attachment.
A represents the bottom of a wagon-body resting upon the springs B B, which are made in the usual elliptic forni.
On the under side of the wagon-body A, at or about the center, is' attacheda spiral spring, O, the ends of which are,'by means of straps D D, connected with the bottom of the ellipticsprings B B. By this means the racking of the wagon-body forward and backward is entirely avoided.

What we claim as new, and 'desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
