IMPROVEMENT IN BOXES FOR PACKING FRUl-T,VPROVISIONS, &c`.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, GEORGE M. Hus'rox, of Pnt- Y 11am, in. the county ot' Muskingum and State of Ohio, have invented certain new and uset'ul Improvements in the Preservation of Perishable Articles by means 1 Let.'l a Packing or Shipping-Oase; Vand l do hereby declare the following description to be-a ull,.elear, and exact specification thereof, reference being had to thc accompanying drawing forming a part thereof, and in 'which-` Figure I represents a plan view of my invention, and

Figure 2, a longitudinal section of the. same. taken lhe nature thereof consists in the employment ol' two boxes or barrels, or other receptacle suitable l'or packing purposes, in which it is designed to preserve eggs, butter, fruit, or other perishable articles for general use,I or while being transported from one place rto another, the inner box or receptacle being perforated or supplied with slots, or having apertures between the boards composing its walls, top, and bottom, and entirely surrounded, when placed in its outer casing or receptacle, with packing suit-able for protecting its contents from deeon'iposition produced by exposure to the atmosphere.
