The combination with a sheet receiving cylinder having a single set of sheet taking devices, of means for operating said devices to cause them to take sheets at different points in the revolution of the cylinder on successive revolutions of the cylinder, a plurality of sets of registering devices, one setfat each sheet taking point, each of said sets including sheet stops and an operating rockshaft therefor, a throw-off for the cylinder, and means operated by the movement of the cylinder for rocking the shafts to shift the position of the stops when the cylinder is throwncff.

The combination with a sheet receiving cylinder having a single set of sheet tak- -vices to take a sheet on successive revolutions of the cylinder, a plurality of sets. of sheet registering devices, each set including sheet stops and an operating shaft for sald stops, a carriage in which said reglstering devices and shafts are mounted, a frame 1n which the ,carriage moves, and an actuating mechanism including operating levers located outside the frame for operating the shafts.

The combination with the sheet receiving cylinder of a rotary printing couple, said cylinder having a single set of-sheet taking devices, of means for operating said devices to take a sheet on successive revolutions of the cylinder, a plurality of sets of sheet reg istering devices, each set including sheet stops and an operating shaft for said stops, a carriage in which said shafts and registering devices are mounted, a frame in which the carriage moves, short actuating shafts extending through the frame, said shafts being detach-ably connected to the operating shafts, and an actuating mechanism .including operating connections for the short shafts, said connections being located outside the frame.
