IMPROVEMENT IN MEDICAL COMPOUNDS FOR FOWLS.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the sani e To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JACOB H. KIPP, of Millerstown, in the county of Perry and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and valuable Improvement in Medical Compounds for Fowls; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the same.
My invention relates v to medioalcom pounds, and con sists in combining and compounding a mixture of a novel character, for the cure of cholera in chickens. It is also useful for the complaint usually'known as gapes in such fowls.
My medical compound is prepared as follows, namely:
I take one-fourth pound ofgentian, one-fourth pound of ginger, one-fourth pound of sulphur, one-fourth pound of charcoal, one-fourth ounce of capsicum, and two ounces of iron-rust. 1
These ingredients I pulverize and mix thoroughly 'ity of the diseased fowls.
I claim as my invention The combination of the ingredients herein mentioned-as a remedy for diseased fowls, substantially as.
