Referring to the accompanying drawings in detail, I have used the reference number 10 to designate the base boards of the molds for making the line posts and braces, and 11 the base board for the molds for making the corner post. The end board 26 rests on the base 1l andfis provided with grooves designed to receive the ends of the partition board 23 and the side board 15, and hooks for detachably connecting the ends and side.
The brace which is molded in the brace mold C is what is termed a straight brac-e, that is a brace which extends from the top of the corner postto the top of the line post. For molding the end of the brace which engages the corner post, I provide a block 27 provided with an integral beveled shoulder vbraces are made in rights and lefts, I accomplish this by turning the block 27 so that its beveled edge will form either a kright or left brace as desired.
In setting up my mold the base board 11 is first laid down and then the remaining base boards in the order shown. The end boards and sides are then placed in position and secured together by the hooks. 'Ihe partition boards are then placed in their position and the mold is then ready for use. After the molds have been filled with concrete and it is desired to again use the mold, the hooks are disengaged and the mold taken apart, the post and brace removed and the mold is then assembled as above stated.
Vhile I have herein shown and described only one embodiment of my invention, it is molds, a base board for corner post molds,
a side boundary board on each side of the gate mold, partition boards on the contacting line of the respective base boards, an end board at one end of the gate mold forming the boundary line for all of the molds, a second end board at the other end of the gate mold forming the boundary line for all ci the molds except the corner post mold, means for detachably connecting said side boundary boards and end boards together, a block on each of the end base boards against which the side boards will contact and secure the gate mold Jfrom lateral movement, and a groove extending across all of said base boards except the corner post base board to receive said second end board thereby to prevent longitudinal movement of said base boards.
2. In a combination mold for line posts, corner posts and braces comprising a plurality of base boards, the base boards for said corner posts being of greater length than the base boards for the line posts, side boards for said corner posts and brace molds,
' partition boards on the contacting line between the remaining base boards, end boards for said molds, means for detachably securing said parts together, and means for preventing longitudinal movement of the base board for said corner post mold.
3. In a combination mold for line posts7 corner posts and braces comprising a plurality of base boards, the base boards for said corner posts being of greater length than the base boards for the line posts, side boards for said corner posts and brace molds, partition boards onV the contacting line between the remaining base boards, an end board at one end of said base boards having dove-tailed connection with the side boards and partition boards, a second end board for the opposite end of said molds and having dove-tailed connection with all of said base boards except the base board for the corner post, an end board for said corner post mold, means for detachably securing said parts together, and means secured to one of the side boards of said corner post mold to prevent longitudinal movement of said mold with respect to the remainingmolds.
4. In a device of the class described, a brace mold comprising base boards provided with a groove near one end, side boards and partitions, end boards, one of said end boards being designed to engage the groove in said base boards, blocks provided with integral shoulders in either end of said mold and means for detachably securing the parts together.
