Each post is inclined from the `top downward inthe `directionotI `the panel, whose attached post-is on' thelopposite side of. the brace, andha tie-bar, F, is

connected near the bottom, and passes through the panel between the lower boards; also, through a block', G, `behindavhich it is secured by a'key, H, the block beingused merely for a seat for the key.

- Tbevbraces are arranged as to length, so as to support the fence above the ground, and these tie-bars clamp the whole togetherin such a manner that the 'greater the weight of .the fence is themore rmlyit will stand.

It will be vseen that this ,is a very simple construction ``or portable fences to be taken apart for removal, and that it'will be firm and secure when put up. I also place a block, K, in the space bet-Ween the upper longitudinal bars to prevent one from rising without the other, the said block extending across the joint `between the postsalso being nailedfast. v

I claim as new `and desire to secure by `Letters Patent- Y 1.. As an improvement in movable fences, a detachable panel, having the rails C attached and extend,- ing to theA middle of two broad posts B D, as shown and described.
