For carrying each record 23, or similar article to be stored. I provide a packing unit or container 2i comprising a shallow hollow box of such dimensions as ccnugletely to inclc-se the record or other article, and open at one end, 25. A strip of fabric 26 is secured at 2? to the inside of the bottom of each box or container, midway between the sides. and is looped toward the back before being gassed-above and over the record toward the front. through which it projects, carrying on its extremity a tag 28 which contains a removable name plate 29- hearing the title of the record. It obvious that when one of these tags is pulled toward the front, it will draw with it the fabric stripanal gently but firmly extract the record from its container, making it readily accessible.
