AWhat we claim is:
1. `The combination, with a motor, said cabinet being provided with a hinged lid, a motor winding shaft journaled iti-the cabinet, and means for Winding up the motor independent of the movements of ,the Said lid; of a disengageabl'e auxiliary Winding mechanism comprising a toothed :rack secured to the said lid, and a train -of toothed driving devices operatively connecting the said rack with the said shaft and provided with a. ratchet mechanism, whereby the winding shaft is revolved to wind up the motor by wthe downward movements of the said lid. i
' 2. The combination,'with aVV cabinet for a motor, said cabinet being provided with a hinged lid, a motorwinding shaft journaled in the cabinet, and means' for winding up the motor independent of the movements of the said lid; .of a disengageable auxiliary winding mechanism comprising a toothed pinion slidablevon the said shaft and pro-` vided with a fastening device for securing itto the shaft, a toothed rack secured to the' cabinet for a the said lid; of a toothed rack secured to the said lid, a driving shaft carried by the cabinet, a toothed wheel mounted on the driving shaft and \operati\ ely connected with the said rack, a toothed wheel also y mounted on the driving shaft and having a ratchet toothed ring on one side, a springpressed 'pawl slidable longitudinally in a hole in the first said toothed wheel and engaging with the said ring, and-driving devices operatively connecting the last said toothed -wheel with the said driving shaft.
4. The combination, with a. cabinet pro# vided with a hinged lid, and a motor winding shaft journaled in the cabinet; of a toothed segment secured to-.the said' lid and. arranged concentric of its hinge, a driving shaft carried by the cabinet, a toothed Wheel mounted on the driving shaft and operatively connected with the said seg-ment` a toothed wheel also mounted on the driving shaft and having a ratchet toothed ring on one side, aspringpressed .pawl slidable longitudinally in a hole in the irst said toothed wheel'and engaging with the said ring, a
, collar mounted to slide longitudinally on the said driving shaft, a trip rod, for moving the `said collar, carried by the cabinet, a
