IMPROVEMENT IN BUCKLES WITH BUTTON-HOLE ATTACHMENT.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent aild making pait of the same.
I, BENJAMIN J. GREELY, of Boston, in the county of Suffolk and State of Massacl'iusetts, have invented a. new and useful article,.being a' Buckle and Button- Hole Combined, of which the following is a specification.
The drawing shows a perspective view ofmy buckle and but-ton-holc combined.
A represents the frame, and
B, the spring-wirebutton-hole.
The tongues O C aresho'wn in one piece with the button-hole B, but may be made separate.
In the button-hole shown, the ends'of the frame A are represented as being bent around the spring wire,
but it is obvious that; the spring wire maybe bent around the ends of the frame, they being bent; pamllel to the upper side of the frame for that; purpose; or
the frame and wire piece may be secured together in an other suit-able way. do not claim the method shown of attaching the wire piece to the frame, as I am aware that it is notnew; nor do 1 claim any form of bucklenlone. or metallic button-hole alone.
I claim as niy inventionl. A buckle in combination with a metallic buttonhole, when constructed substantially as described.
2. lhc continuous wire piece B O, forming a metallic button-hole and the tongues of a buckle, in combination with the frame A, substantially as described.
