Heretofore stops, consisting of dowcls or round pins, haveheen used in connection with guides for the purpose of extending the table, but they ared'efective by reason ot' cutting too much of lthe material of the runners and want the essential element of strength.
My improvement consists of metal guides or stops on the runners.
