tables A is a detail top plan view with parts broken Referring more particularly to the drawings, 1 represents suitable supporting feet which are properly mortised and have socured thereto the standards 2 which have their upper ends seated in rnortises 3 formed in the heads 4. The upper end of each standard is also provided with a suitable notch 6 to receive lugs 7 carried upon the board 8. These lugs prevent lateral movement of the board upon the standards and cross battens 9 carried by the board engage the heads and prevent longitudinal move ment of the board on the standards. The board is connected to the heads and held in operative position thereon by hooks and eyes 11 carried by the battens and heads, as shown.
The standards are held separated relation by means of a brace 12 which has its ends provided with tenons to as the inortises 13 formed in the w This brace bar 12 is held in position upon the standards by the hooks and. eyes lei which are connected to the brace car and standards respectively.
