The heads of the bolts .16 are arranged in the T-sl'ots 17 in the head so that the supports maybe adjusted thereon transversely and longitudinally, the bolts 16 serving-to clamp the supports to their adjusted position.
The bearing blocks 11 are preferably provlded with T-grooves 18 in-Which the heads 19 of the clamping bolts are-engaged. These bolts are'arranged longitudinally through the arms 14 so that their nuts 21 are at the outer ends of the arms and in a. convenient position for manipulation. Coact-ing clam ing bolts 22 are preferably provided, t e same being arranged below the arms 14. These bolts 22 are also always accessible no matter what position the supports may be adjusted to, as the nuts are always away from the center of the machine so that a wrench can be readily engaged therewith. This manner of arranging these bolts is of very great advantage on account of the ease and facility with which they may be adjusted with the supports in any position.
In my improved drilling machine, the parts are, as previously stated, very accessible so that the drills can be adjusted to any position which they are capable of filling very readily and easily, and I desire to remark that the adjustment is very complete.

Having thus described my invention, what I-claim as new and desire to secure by Lettors Patent is:

In a multiple drill, the combination with the drill spindles, of driving connections therefor including a plurality of flexible shafts provided with slip joints; a head with which said flexible shafts are grouped, faced on the under side; bearing blocks for said'drill spindles faced on-one side and pro-' adjusting arms and ble shafts provided with slip joints; .3, head with which said flexible shafts are. rouped, faced on the under side; bearing blocks" for said drill spindles faced on one side and provided with vertical T-slots; supports provided with seats for said bearing blocks; clamping bolts for said bearing blocks disposed with their heads in said 'T-slots parallel. with said sup port arms; and means to secure said bearing block supports adjustably to said head.

In a multiple drill, the combination of the drill spindle; flexible driving connections therefor; a fixed carrying head; adjustable bearing blocks for said drill spindles faced on one side and provided witha vertical T-adjust-ing slot; a bearing block support with adjusting arm and seat for said bearing block; clamping bolts =parallel to theadjusting arm disposed in said support and coiiperating with the T-slot to clamp the bearing block in lace; and means for securing said arm a ust-ably to said head. j
