CARSON, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of lllinois, have invented certain new and useful Improvement,- in Book-Markers, or which the following is a specification.

In practice. the marker, such as shown complete in Fig. 2, is one of a set of thirty, which are designed to mark the entire lesson for a week or a "follower of Christian Science and I shall, therefore, only refer to this use in connection with Christian Science so for as the same may be necessary to a full understanding of the fundamental parts of the invention.

By my invention, 1 seek to provide a marker which, when used in series, will dispense with the necessity of one searching end finding the readings each time, as it is designed that the lessons may be read daily and by placing the markers the first day or" the period, they may be subsequently tollowed Without. the necessity of relocating the different lessons.
