When the latter is released by the ralentir of the catch l1 from holding `engagement therewith, it is automaticallythrown to its open position by meansof a spring-pressed pin l5 sented in the frame 9 and acting with an outward' pressure against said latch. When the latch 7 is thus thrown to open position, the bohbin and bobbin-case heineT released thereby will also ordinarily drop outwardly from their position1 within the looptnker to u position resting,` upon said latch, as shown in Fig. 1, where they may be conveniently reached by the operator. Subsequently and after a newly-wound bobbin has been placed in the hohbin-cnse, the latter will pe again placed or otherwiselocated on the etch and the latch then swung to its closed position, the hobhin und tive position within the loop-taker. the latch 7 it will operate by contact of its upper edge with the catch 11 to ra'ise .the latter and permit of the passage of the latch 7 beneath the shoulder 13 thereon following which said catch 11 will be caused to automatically snap into lockingr engagement with the latch 7 under the action of the spring 14. fsupported by means of two horizontally-arranged pins 18, 18, projecting from the front side of vthe shaft frame or hanger 4 'and entering corresponding openings 19, 19, in the latch frame, whereby-the latter may bev slidingly adjusted on said pins to adjust the position of the Ilatch relatively to the loop-taker and bobbin-case in order to provide the proper thread clearance between the latch and the face ofthe bobbin-case. Set s rews 20, 20, carried in the latch frame for engagement with the pins 18, 18, and adjustable sto or positioningr pins 2, 21, carried rame or hanger 4 for engagement rear side of said latch-frame, serve as a means for irnilysecuring the latter in adjusted position.

The frame or hanger 4 in the present case, asalso in my aforesaid pending application,

What lV claim is:

1. In a Sewing machine, the combination with a rotary loop-taker and a bobbin-oase, of a hanger at the undeneside of the bedplate prmf'ided-with a plurality of horizontally-arranged bracket pins, a frame-mountedy on said pins, andv a bobbin-case latch mounted on saidoframe.
