Various means have' heretofore been devisedv `for overcoming this objection. I am aware that ithas been proposed to meet this requirement by gin'eans of guides en? gageable with one or both edges of the music sheet. It has also been proposed to -obviate this objection by means for automatically shitting the rollers or spools in the direction of their length.
