To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, GEORGE W. WILSON, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Pittsburgh, in the county of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania, have invented certain new and usefuT Improvements in Game Apparatus, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawing.

This invention relates to a game apparatus, and the primary object of my in vention is to provide an apparatus that will afiord considerable amusement to juveniles and at the same time require considerable skill on the part of adults to successfully play the game.

Another object of this invention is to provide a game apparatus embodying tiltable and inclined tracks upon which movable or tumbling bodies are adapted to be moved, the tumbling bodies being of such construction that it requires a steady hand and con siderable patience to move the bodies onto and upon the tracks of the apparatus.

A further objectof this invention is to provide a game apparatus that is inexpensive to manufacture, durable, and highly efiicient for amusement purposes.

I attain the above objects by a mechanical construction that will be hereinafter specifically described and then claimed, and reference will now be had to the drawing, wherein Figure 1 is a plan of the game apparatus, Fig. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view taken on the line II-II of Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a similar view taken on the line 111 111 of Fig. 1, Fig. 4 is a cross sectional view taken on the line IV-IV of Fig. 1, and Fig. 5 is a longitudinal sectional view of one of the movable or tumbling bodies of the apparatus.

A game apparatus in accordance with this invention comprises an oblong box or casing having a flat bottom plate 1, end walls 2 and 3 and side walls 4 and 5. Located at the angle of the walls 2 and 4 is a corner receptacle 6 that has a lid 7. In this receptacle can be placed the movable or tumbling bodies used in connection with the apparatus. Each body, as illustrated in Fig. 5, comprises a tubular sectional shell 8 having rounded closed ends 9, the body being in the form of a bullet or capsule. Located within the body is a ball orspherical body 10, made of metal and this ball moves by gravity whereby the body will tumble or roll. Any number of these tumbling bodies can be used in connection with the apparatus. Located at the angle of the walls 3 and 4 is an elevated corner platform 11 having an open-' ing or a seat 12 for one of the tumbling bodies. Located adjacent to the platform 11 are bearings 13 and pivotally mounted between said bearings by a pin 14 is a tiltable track 15. The forward end of the track rests normally upon the bottom 1 of the casing at one end of a groove 16 formed in the bottom of the casing. The track 15 is concave or grooved, and adjacent to the rear end thereof is provided with an oblong opening 17 By manipulating the casing one of the movable bodies can be caused to travel onto the tiltable track, over the opening 17 onto the platform 11 and into the seat 12. such manipulation of the casing to seat one of the tumbling bodies requiring considerable skill, as there is a liability of the movable body tumbling off of the track or through the opening 17 thereof. Arranged at the angles of the walls 3 and 5 is another elevated platform 18 having a seat or opening 19 and connected to said platform, as at 20 is another track 21, preferably made of a.

strip of fabric. The strip of fabricis secured to blocks 22, carried by the bottom 1 of the casing and the opposite end of the strip of fabric is inclined and secured, as at 23 to the bottom of the casing. This forward end of the track terminates at a triangular shaped recess or groove 24 formed in the bottom of the casing. Considerable dexterity is required in causing one of the movable bodies to travel upon the track and onto the platform 18. Secured to the bottom 1 of the casing, adjacent to the wall 2 is a spiral track 25 having the top or upper convolution thereof provided with a seat or opening 26. This track is concave or grooved. to facilitate the guidance of a movable body thereon.

It is apparent that while attempting to place one of the bodies in position that other bodies, previously placed, are liable to be unseated.

The game apparatus can be provided with a detachable lid or permanent transparent cover, and in the latter instance the receptacle 6 can be dispensed with.

What I claim is 1. A game apparatus comprising a casing. a tiltable track arranged therein, a spiral track arranged in. said casing, and tumbling bodies arranged in said casing and adapted to traverse said tracks by manipulating said casing.

2. A game apparatus comprising a casing, a tiltable track arranged in said casing and having an opening formed therein, a platform arranged in said casing adjacent to said track, and a movable body arranged in I said casing and adapted to travel upon said 10 track onto said platform by manipulating said casing.
