IMPRQVED BRIDGE.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making partof the same.
To all whom fit mag/*concern in county of Putnam and State ot Ohio, have invented certain new and useful-Improvements in Bridges; and do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawing and to the letters of reference marked thereon making a part of this specication.
The nature of my invention consists in the construction and arrangement of'an iron bridge, as will be hereinafter fully set forth. 4
' In order to enable others skilled. in the art to which my invention Vappertains to make and use the same, I will now proceed to describe its construction referring to the annexed drawing, in which- Figure 1 is a side view of an arch of my bridge; and

My bridge is formed of arches or girders constructed of' railroad iron or approximate form.

lVhat I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
1. rI he combination of the arched lT-shaped rail A, sh-pieces B B, and bolts C, all substantially as set forth. 1
2. The combination of lthe stirrups D, rail A, and chord or chords E, all substantially as set forth.
3. In combination with T-railpA, having notches a' a,- barsor fishiplates B B and bolts C C, the loops or stirrups D, chords E, and shoes G, all constructed and arranged as described, substantially as and for the purposes herein set forth..
