To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that-I, HARRIETT B. Rronor'r, a citizen of the United States, residing at Greenville, in the county of Greenville and State of South Carolina, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Pillow-Sham Holders, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawing.

This invention relates to pillow sham holders, and has for its obj ectthe production of a pillow sham' holder whi'ch may be stretched to accommodatedifi'erent width beds.

Another object of this invention is the production of an efiicient means for gripping the pillow shams without. fear of injuring the same.

Still another object of this invent-ion is the production of an etficient sham holder which may be made from several "lengths ofwire.

, With these and other objects in view this invention consists of certain novel constructions, combinations, and arrangements of parts as will be hereinafter fully described and claimed. l c

In the drawings: Figure 1 is a perspective view of the pillow sham holder attached to a bed. Fig. 2 is a fragmentary perspective view showing the construction of one end of the pillow sham holder. Fig. 3 is a side elevation of the gripping means for the-pillow sham showing a portion of the sham holder in section. Fig. 4is a side elevation of one of the pillow shamgripping members showing the construction of the free end of the spring. Fig. 5 is a view similar to Fig. 4 with the free end broken away. A cooperating button is also carried by the link 17 for clamping the center of'the sham to the holder. What is claimed is Aflshain holder of the class described comprising. a post engaging section, said postengagingisection constituting a substantially U-shaped post-engaging lip, said lip terminating in parallel arms, said arms terminating in coil springs, said coil springs terminating in laterally extending arms, a pair of converging arms engaging said laterally extending arms, said converging arms being twisted together at their inner ends, one of said converging arms terminating in a laterally extending arm carrying a coil spring, the free end of said coil spring constituting a finger, sham-gripping buttons carried by said fingers, a sham-gripping button carried by the other converging arm for firmly holding a sham in engagement with said holder,

and said mentioned other converging arm terminating into a loop, and spring means engaging said loop.
