' -anflI do hereby declare the following to be a'f1l1, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as ywill enablev others skilled in-the art to which itv appertains to make and use the same.
This invention .relates to newand useful improvements in dinner pails.
An object of this invention is the provi- `sion of a dinner pail which is of such const-ruction'that itl will retain the food therein in heated condition until ready `for use.
Another object of this invention is the provision of a dinner pail containing a plurality of compartments, several of which are adapted to contain food, while one of the said compartments has. located therein a lam-p adapted for the purpose of retaining the food Withinthe compartments in heated condition.
Another object of -this invention is the provision of a' ldinner pail upon which is loca-ted a cover having a compartment provided therein for the reception of any suit-- able liquid, the said cover being provided with an opening ,which is normally closed by a cap preferably in the form of a cup.
A further object of this invention is the provision of a dinner nail having located therein a compartment adapted to be heated by means of a lamp to which access may be.v had through an opening formed "in one end of the pail, this opening bein -provided with aA hinged closure in the orm of a bulls eye, which permits the dinner pail 4of construction., formations, combinations and arrangements of part-s to be hereinafter more. fully described, claimed and lllulstrated in the accompanying drawings, 1n which the figure is a vertical longitudinal sectional view thereo'f. .l v

This lamp 25 is retained upon the bottom of the receptacle against displacement abymeans of spring clips 26 which are riveted or otherwise secured within the compartment 20 andbetween which the base 27 of the lamp is adapted to be inserted.
