To all whom it mafyconcern:
Be it known that I, HARRY M. HA-UN, a
. citizenof the United States, residing at Ethanac.. in the county of Riverside, State of California, have invented .certain new and useful Improvements in Ball-Bearing 4of the same, such as willfenable others Skilled in the art to which it appertainsto make and use'the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the characters of reference 'marked thereon, which forma part oft-his application.

This invention relates to improvements inV sliding hangerddoors, -the objectof the invention beingV to produce a ball-bearing hanger for the door which will operate ina specially designed form of track way whereby'the door can'be moved along the track with easeV and precision and with a. minimum amount of friction and labor.
A further object of the invention is to produce a ball bearing hanger for the door wherein the door Awill operate inI a 4straight and true track which will render'the device capable of operating with a minimum amount of friction and which will reduce the necessityof replacing due tothe fact vthat there will be no swinging or vibration tive for the purposes for which iti's designed.
These objects, I accomplish by means of such structure and relative arrangement of `the partsas will fully appear by aperusalj ofthe following specification and claim.

Referring now moreparticularlyto the characters of-reference on the drawings, the numeral 1 designates a building having the usual door opening adapted to be closed by a sliding door 2.
My invention embodies first a track mem- .ber consist-ing. of an upper inelosing member 4 p1 ided with aninner groove 5, such member L having projecting flanges V6 and 6@ bolted to which .are supporting bars 7 and 8,'such bars 7 being bolted to the building 1 in a perpendicularmanner Vand the bars 8 curving outwardly over the member 4 and being bolted to the members y7 land 41. Bolted to the member 6 is a flange 9 havin a curved portion 10 and bolted to the memlier 6a is a iangegll provided with a curved portion 12 spaced from the portion 10 to form a slot 13. f
The numeral 14 designates the hanger proper which will be provided with holes 15- to receive balls 16. These balls will fit snugly in the holes 15 and both the balls and the holes .will loev strictly smooth on their surfaces in order that there .may be a minimum Afriction between them. The balls 16 will fit .snugly into the curved surfaces ,of the members 10 and 12 and the hanger 14. will projectthrough the slot 13 and beconnected with the door -2 by means of vbolts or similar fastening structure.

While this specification sets forth in detail the'present and preferred construction of the device, still in practice such deviations from such detail may be resorted to as 'do not form a departure from the spirit of the invention.
Having thus described my invention What I claim as new and usefuland desire to secure by'Letters Patent is: A device of the character described comprising an upper inclosing'member provided with a groove in its under face, a projecting fiange on each sideof said member,'a track way comprising two curved members spaced apart and secured Ito said projecting flanges, hangers vprojecting between said curved members and provided with holes, balls mounted in said holes and bearing against said curved members, and a 'door swung on said hangers, as described.
