In a loom beam, the lcombination with a body and heads,'of radiallydisposed plates fixed to the heads, anges upon the plates provided with perforations, arcuate arms at the inner ends of said plates embracing the body, fingers Aupon the arms parallel with adjacent flanges and provided with outwardly' swelled intermediate portions, lugs upon the fingers abutting against adjacent flanges, bolts connecting the swelled portions of the fingers and adjacent flanges and nuts upon the bolts pressing against the swelled portions.

In a loom beam, the combination with the body and heads, of radially' disposed flanged plates fixed to the heads, arms at the inner ends of said plates embracing the body and resilient-ly movable relatively to said heads and. plates,and means connecting said flanges to the arms for forcing said arms into contact with the surface of the body.
5. In a loom beam, the combination with the` body and heads, of radially disposed flanged plates fixed to the heads, arms at the inner ends of said plates embracing the body and resiliently movable relatively to said heads and plates, and means connecting lsaid anges to the arms for forcing said arms into contact with the surface of the body, said arms being independent of the outer periphery of the head.
