A device of the character described comprising a body portion having a barat one end slit lengthwise and slightly flared at its forward end and two wing members extending iiorwardly from the forward end of said barrel, each wing member having a laterally-disposed curved wing and a depending flange and being separated in line with the slit of said barrel, a ill-shaped clamp member pivotally-connected to said depending flanges at one or" their ends and adapted to embrace the same, and a mouthpiece entered into said barrel and having a tapering tip at its forward end, substantially as set forth.

A device of the character described comprising a body-portion having a slitted trough-likemember forming two separated parts and a barrel extending rearwardly from said troiigh-lilre member, means for drawing the parts of said trough-like member toward each other, and a mouth-piece applied to said barrel.
8. A device of the character described comprising a body-portion having opposite.
laterally-disposed curved wings forming a trough and depending flanges separated to receive a portion of the cigare' flpaper therebetween and having alined ii .ci'u to permit the removal of the paper therefrom, a substantially U-shaped clamp. pivotally attached to the inner ends of said depending flanges and adapted to straddle the latter to clamp the cigarette paper therebetween, and a mouth-piece applied to said barrel.

A device of the character described comprising a body-portion having a barrel at one end and a trough-like-structure comprising two separated members extending forwardly from-said barr l, means to clamp said separated members together, a sleeve surrounding said barrel and in contact therewith, and an outer sleeve surrounding said first-mentioned sleeve and having an annular inwardly-directed flange at its inher end lying in contact with the inner end of said barrel and the inner end of said firstmentioned sleeve, and a shouldered mouthpiece entered into said barrel with the shoulder thereof against the flanged end of said outer sleeve.

A device of the character described comprising a body-portion having a barrel at one end and a trough-like supporting portion extending forwardly from the inner end of said barrel, said barrel being slightly flared at its outer end to facilitate the entrance o-f a cigarette thereinto, a sleeve surrounding the slitted barrel, and a mouthpiece entering said barrel and having a tapering tip extending forwardly in line with the flared end of said barrel.

A device of the character describedcomprising a body-portion having a barrel and a trough-like structure extending for- Wardly from said barrel, said barrel being slitted longitudinally and said trough-like structure being separated in line with said slit, packing between the separated parts of said trough-like members at their rear ends, a U-shaped clamp straddling said trough-like member to force the parts thereof toward each other, and a mouth-piece applied t said barrel.
