To all whom it may concern:
Beit known that I, HENRYC HARRILD, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Spokane, in the county of Spokane and State of Washington, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Dowels,
of which the following is a specification.
In the drawmg Figure 1 is a side view of i the dowel ready for use, and Fig. 2 is a 20 similar view of the dowel applied for use.
In the'accompanying illustration I present a form of dowel adapted for use in the making of smallframes or joints. In this construction, the dowel has a center piece 2 which projects beyond the side spurs 1, so that a hammer can be used to strike upon the center piece and drive the dowel without injury to the sharp points or spurs on opposite sides of the said center piece.
I claim:
A dowel split from its end forming side I spurs and a central portion which projects at its end beyond the ends of the side spurs.
