The arrangement of coupling claws in connection with the single type carriers or sectors, has the advantage that the force required for depression of the keys is uniform, no matter whether yzeros or other type characters are positioned. The restoration of figures required in the machine is effect-ed by means of a releasing device which frees the locking bars holding the keys in depressed positions.
