The Schedule referred to in these ietters Patent and making pm of the same I, MAn W.HOUsn, of Cleveland, in the county of Guyahoga anclSt'ate of Ohio, have invented eerthe following is a specification. The nature of this invention relates to an improved device in filling tubes in lamps, and consists of a cup placed in theibottom of the fount in connectionwith the fillingftuhe, in such a manner that thebottom ot the filling-tube, sitting in the cup,- shall always be submerged in oil. against the passage of fire is provided by the interposition of the cup throughwhich fire cannot pass to communicate with the gases in the fount.
