Each row of bell cranks 217 has the usual detent slide 214 adapted to be thrust rearward upon depression of a key and detained by the detent pawl 228. The latter is as usual adapted to be released by the cross rod 202 of an oscillatory bail such cross rod also acting against 'thevend of the slide strip.
