This invention relates topoeket knives of the kind provided with fittings eonneeted with the tangs of the blades for the purpose of enabling them to be reaeily opened by a lever action.

The object at thi. invention is to produee a fitting of the indieated type Whieh is mounted within a reeess in the tang and pivoted on the hlade pivot. and so eonstrueted and arranged as not to interfere with the hlade spring or trietional surt'aees of the hlade tangs.
