  • Various conventional systems that monitor pressure associated with a selective catalytic reduction system utilize an approach by which the pressure sensor (e.g., a barometric sensor) disposed away from the aftertreatment system determines pressure across the selective catalytic reduction system.
  • Other conventional systems may utilize an approach by which pressure differential sensors are used to determine the pressure via a set of tubes disposed before and after a diesel particulate filter (DPF), which can complicate the assembly of such aftertreatment systems as well as raise assembly and/or maintenance costs.
