To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, N101; YAon, a citizen of the United States, residing at Polonia, in the county of Portage and State of Visconsin, have invented certain new and use This invention relates to improvements in sled runner attachn'mnts for wheelbarrows.

One object of the invention is to provide a runner attachment ,for wheel barrows adapted to be applied thereto in the position usually occupied by the wheel and which is interchangeable with the wheel.

Another object is to provide. a runner attachment ofthis character having an improved construction and arrangement of braces whereby the runner is securely held in position to properly engage the surface on which the same rests irrespective of the angle or position in which the body of the wheel barrow is held.

\Vith these and other objects in view, the invention consists of certain novel features of construction, combination and arrange ment of parts as will be more fully described and particularly pointed out in the appended claim.

In the accompanying drawings: Figure 1 is a plan view of a wheel barrow showing my improved runner attachment applied thereto; Fig. 2 is a side view of the same with the outer end of the near handle bar broken away'and the shaft in section. Fig. 3 is a vertical cross sectional view through the outer ends of the handle bars and the runner on the line with the runner attaching shaft.

Referring more particularly to the drawings, 1 denotes the body of the wheel barrow which may be of any desired form or construction and which .is provided with the usual handle bars 2 and supporting legs. 3.

By forming the braces 9 simple, strong and durable construction is provided whereby the runner isefiectually braced both laterally and longitudinally and thereby held against strain occasioned by turning the wheel barrow in different directions. i
