To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, PERGIVAL HAMMER TnoU'rMAN, citizen of the United States, residin at Canon City, county of Fremont, and tate of Colorado, have invented certain new. and useful Improvements in Open- Air Heating Devices; and I do declare the scription of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters and figures of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.

My object is to provide a' device adapted to hold a suflicientf quantity of liquid fuel to last for a number of hours, constitutin' the periods during the night when frost is l1able to produce damage of the above-named character, in horticultural localities.

Let the numeral 5 designate a heater considered in its entirety, and comprising'a base 6, a casing. 7 a bottom 8 provided with a central openlng 9; and a centrally located, ulpwardly pro ecting chimney 10 located in't e receptacle, its lower extremity being inserted in the bottom openingof the device. As shown in the drawings, the elements 6, 7 and 8 are suitably connected, as shown .at 12. It is evident, however, that any other suitable construction may be employed.
