My invention relates to certain new and useful improvements in electric terminal contacts, and has for its object to secure the electrical conductor to the contact post in such manner that not only is the conductor firmly anchored to the post, but the removable contact cap is invariably in firm electri cal contact with both the conductor and the post, and with these ends in view my invention consists in certain details ol construction and combination of parts hereina'tter fully described and then particularly pointed out in the claim which concludes this description.

10 is the electrical conductor of the usual insulated form and at Fig. 5 I have shown a portion of this conductor stripped of the insulation and inserted through the post 1. preparatory to being properly jconmactcd therewith, and this stripped portion is designated by the numeral 11.
