Abstract
The invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to electric heaters intended for prevention of formation of ice crust, aufeis, frost on concrete constructions and movable elements of dams of hydro-accumulating electric power plants, and to the methods for production and use of those for heating, for instance, specific structures of large industrial constructions. The invention is based on the problems of improvement of the method for concrete heating, development of an electric heater for realization of the method, inductive heating element for the electric heater and improvement of the method for manufacturing inductive heating element, through efficient uniform heat transfer from the heating element to the body of the electric heater due to convection of heat carrier not only in horizontal, though in vertical direction as well. The invention makes it possible to realize energy-saving technology of concrete and concrete constructions treatment with minimization of operational costs and costs at construction of large-scale objects under conditions of low mean annual temperatures, and to protect against formation of ice crust, frost, aufeis on concrete constructions and movable elements of dams of electric power plants.
