Abstract

The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy. A method for disposal of the waste heat of waste fuel gases of blast furnaces comprises the supply of cold gas fuel and air to heat exchangers for heating of gas fuel and air installed on exhaust ducts of hot waste fuel gases of blast furnace hot-air units which contain elements of heat exchangers connected into separate section. The portion of fuel gases is withdrawn, by-passing the first and intermediate sections of each heat exchanger, and directed to the last section of the heat exchanger from the side of supply of combustion components, and the temperature of withdrawal of cooled waste fuel gases after heat exchanger in the flue gas duct is regulated depending on the temperature of waste fuel gases at the outlet the last section of the heat transfer elements by change of consumption of waste fuel gases through heat exchange elements of the last section of each heat exchanger. The invention makes it possible to increase the temperature of fuel gases at the outlet of heat exchangers and reliably protect the steel refining units from acid corrosion and to increase service life.
