Abstract

A method for odorization of gas in which one supplies odorant with dosing filling pump from holding tank to vertical measuring tube to its maximum permissible level, with measurement of current values of pressure of odorant column in vertical measuring tube by means of differential pressure cell, with injection of required amount of odorant from vertical measuring tube to gas conduit, in proportion to gas flow rate. When odorant in vertical measuring tube comes to given minimum permissible level one terminates injection of odorant to gas duct, with filling with odorant a vertical measuring tube to maximum permissible level. To increase accuracy at measurement of amount of odorant injected to gas conduit and at account of flow rate of odorant, required amount of odorant is set by means of setting the end value of odorant in vertical measuring tube, and odorant is injected to gas conduit by means of an injection pump.
