Abstract

The invention relates to the field of welding equipment and can be used for mutual orientation of the ends of steel special profile (bar) and their connection by electric butt welding. A device for welding comprises clamping devices in the form of prisms that are moved by hydraulic cylinders along one axis which is simultaneously adjusting axis of the parts to be connected by butt welding, and two clamping devices are installed on a sliding table of longitudinal feed, and the sliding table provides longitudinal movement of the left clamping device to meet the fixed right clamping device, and working prismatic clamps of the devices are installed along the axis coinciding with the axis of relative position of two welded parts. A movable table of the sliding table of longitudinal displacement, on which the clamping device is secured, is installed on rectangular guides of machine tool type located in the housing of sliding table. The clamping device is displaced due to two built-in hydraulic forward and reverse cylinders. The sliding table of longitudinal feed is mounted on the sliding table of transverse feed, which enables simultaneous lateral displacement of the clamping devices with the sliding table ensuring the feed of the welded ends into a working position along the axis of welding parts, and placing in initial position is carried out by the sliding table of transverse feed with the rectangular guides of machine tool type and built-in hydraulic cylinders. The clamping device of the assembly is equipped with clamps of grip type with parallel moving jaws, and the supporting prisms are made with possibility of mutual adjustment. Use in production of the welding device will automate the process of welding parts of gas heaters, improve the quality of welded joints and precision of welded parts.
