Abstract

The invention relates to the treatment of water, particularly to the treatment of water by baromembrane methods (nanofiltration), and can be used for the treatment of natural water from nitrates. The task of the invention – increasing a hindrance factor of nitrates by means of a membrane. The technical result consists in increasing the coefficient of hindrance factor of nitrates to 70-85 % at considerably high concentration of nitrates in water to be treated (100-200 mg/dm). The problem is solved by the process for water purification from nitrates by means of filtering water through a nanofiltration membrane in the presence of cationic surfactant – polyhexamethylene guanidine in amount of 5-100 mg/dmand at pH medium of 4.0-9.0. The realization of the proposed process provides considerably high hindrance factor of nitrates (70-85 %). That is at treatment of water with concentration of nitrates of 100 mg/dmremoval of said ions is provided to the level which is significantly lower than rated value 45 mg/dm, which is vital for the environment and health.
