The invention relates to metallurgy, in particular for foundry engineering and can be used at refining, modifying and alloying. Disclosed is a device for treatment of liquid metal with gas-reagent media containing a feeder with reagents, a funnel with tangential supply and a metal transfer line. In the funnel cover a plasmatron is located, which is installed on the same axis with a vortex flow of the melt formed in the funnel during its pouring. Effect: increased efficiency of the processes of refining and modification, increasing to 90 % of efficiency of plasma heating the melt.
