Abstract
The invention relates to a movable shield of mined-out space. The shield support has a skid and a canopy between which at least one post is arranged. On the skid and/or the canopy of the shield support at least one piezoelectric sound sensor is installed, this is protected against external action s by the support. Vibrations generated at operation of the coal combine are transferred through the shield support to the sensors that covert those to electric signals. One determines the boundary between coal and rock with respective control of position of working attachment by signal processing. The invention promotes increase of reliability and accuracy of operation of sensors.
