The claimed utility model relates to medicine, more precisely to ophthalmology, and is intended for 2 treatment of diabetic retinopathy.
Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is classified as a late complication of diabetes mellitus (DM). The frequency of DR in patients with
4; 5).DM ranges from 60 to 9795, depending on the duration and nature of the course of DM (1). DR often continues to progress despite treatment, leading the patient to blindness (2). Disability due to vision loss in patients with DM reaches 1,095. In the age group of 40-60 years, there are 42,905 people who are blind as a result of DR, which leads to high disability of people of working age |Z; 4; 5).
Analyzing the data of the literature, we can conclude that the problem of treating DR remains extremely relevant. Numerous methods of treating DR do not allow to achieve long-term and stable stabilization of visual functions in patients with DM. Often, these methods of treatment have a short-term positive effect on the condition of the retina of the patient's eye, since they are not aimed at the pathogenetic factors of the development of DR and are not able to interrupt the 12 chain of pathological processes as a result of a metabolic disorder in the retina. The application of laser coagulation of the retina and other surgical methods of treatment is aimed only at the elimination of pathological processes that already exist, and not at the prevention of the development of DR. Some of the surgical methods can even lead to serious complications - hemorrhages and detachment of the retina (E). Therefore, the search for pathogenetic means of treating DR is an urgent task of modern ophthalmology.
In modern literature, it is noted that retinal angiogenesis, which leads to a sharp decrease in vision in DR patients, is under the pronounced influence of both inducers and inhibitors. Therefore, the use of neovascularization inhibitors can become a new rational strategy in the non-destructive therapy of DR, which prevents irreversible loss of visual functions. Therefore, the main emphasis in medical treatment of patients with
вDR at the current level of knowledge is assigned to drugs that inhibit growth factors and prevent neovascularization I71. in
вCorticosteroids, as you know, have angiostatic properties: they stabilize the density of endothelial cell junctions, normalize the amount of growth factors, strengthen the barrier properties of retinal endothelial cells, inhibiting the synthesis of arachidonic acid and prostaglandins, which are mediators of vascular permeability I7|. in
Considering the fact that DR is accompanied by the development of metabolic intoxication syndrome, activation of autoimmune and immune complex reactions, it is advisable in DR to use agents that eliminate toxic substances, pathogenic circulating immune complexes from the bloodstream, this can be achieved by using enterosorbents in M complex treatment of patients with DR |81I. Ge")
The closest analogue of the proposed method is the method of treating diabetic retinopathy (9), which involves the use of basic hypoglycemic therapy and drug therapy: trentad, vitamins B, Bb,

Duration of diabetes is 18 years. The visual acuity of the right eye was 0.1 and the left eye was 0.2. The total field of vision of the right eye was 3092, the left eye - 3152. During ophthalmoscopy, the patient had a central swelling of the retina spreading in the temporal direction, focal paracentral growth of newly formed vessels. A moderate decrease in KChZM indicators (38-40 Hz), the furnace increased to 130 μA.
Через 6 місяців після лікування гострота зору дорівнювала 0,3 на обох очах, КЧЗМ (42-43 Гц), ПЕЧ (75 мкА).After 15 days of treatment with the proposed method, the visual acuity changed to 0.3 in the right eye, to 0.4 in the left eye, the total field of vision in the right eye became 337g, in the left eye - 3425, the indicators of KChZM increased (42-43 Hz ), the electrosensitivity threshold decreased to 80 μA. After 3 months, the visual acuity was equal to 0.4 in both eyes, KChUZM (42-43 Hz), EEC decreased to 75 μA. 6 months after treatment, visual acuity was equal to 0.3 in both eyes, CCHZM (42-43 Hz), EEC (75 μA).
