Abstract

The invention relates to a method for expression of apolipoprotein in plants providing for (а) creating the structure of chimeric nucleic acid comprising components in the direction 5'-3' of transcription as ones linked functionally: (і) a nucleic acid consequence capable of controlling the expression in plant cells; and (іі) a nucleic acid consequence encoding polypeptide of the apolipoprotein; (ііі) a nucleic acid consequence encoding (1) a directional signal capable of forwarding the apolipoprotein into endoplasmic reticulum (ЕR) or a storage vesicle derivative of the ER, or (2) a signal peptide which is capable of forwarding the polypeptide of the apolipoprotein into an apoplast, and a stabilizing polypeptide; (b) introducing the structure of the chimeric nucleic acid into a plant cell; and growing the plant cell into a mature plant capable of giving seeds. The seeds express apolipoprotein therein.
