Abstract

The technique for the dynamic interspinous stabilization in the patients with degenerative-dystrophic lesions of the backbone provides for adjusting the size of the appliance for the interspinous space due to the change of the distance between ten plates and the volume of silicone. Then the skin and the soft tissues in the projection of the affected interspinous space are incised, the spinous processes and half-arches of the anatomical segment are skeletonized, the flavectomy is performed, the hernia of the disk is removed and/or the decompression of the neural structures is provided. Then the interspinous ligament is removed while the integrity of the supraspinous ligament is spared. The said appliance for the interspinous stabilization is mounted and fixed. The wound is then sutured layer-by-layer.
