Abstract

The invention relates to the metallurgy, namely to a method for producing of molten materials using synthesis-gas and a device for implementation thereof. A method for producing of molten metal and synthesis-gas in device which has the top and the bottom chambers and means for their dividing, comprises the supply of pellets or briquettes containing metals oxides and coal and lime with them into the top chamber of device, supply of grinded coal in gas-carrier stream into the bottom chamber, oxygen supply into the bottom chamber, melting of coal and heating of chamber for coal gasification with formation of synthesis-gas, water supply into the bottom chamber, direction of synthesis-gas into the top chamber for reduction of metals from metal oxides, melting of pellets or briquettes, collecting of molten metal and slag are formed in the bottom part of the bottom chamber and theirs discharge to the extent of accumulation withdrawal of synthesis-gas from the upper part of the top chamber. The metal oxides with high chemical activity relative to carbon are used as pellets and briquettes, synthesis-gas is directed from the bottom in the top chamber through means dividing them, water is supplied into the bottom chamber as vapor, vapor also is supplied into the top chamber, gas portion of which is withdrawal from the upper part of the top chamber, directed into the bottom chamber, and part supplied to the purification. The device for implementation of the method is also claimed. The invention provides the producing of molten metal and synthesis-gas of high quality from low-cost raw.
