Abstract

Invention object: the method for side-looking radar (SLR) aperture synthesizing and the device for this one.Use area: the invention refers to radar area in particular to the Earth surface radar survey.Invention content: The SLR aperture synthesizing includes the sounding signal generation; this one radiation; the reflected signals receiving; their measurement for the slant elements which size is equal to the radar range-resolution by synthetic aperture length and data processing. Data processing makes phase correction of the received signals, storing ones, averaging over max possible sampling interval, splitting the frequency bands, assembling the path signals, match filtering, recording and/or displaying the radar image. The invention objective is achieved by signals separation between frequency bands of its spectrum for each range line of the received path data using digital filtering. The new data array is assembled by summation of the splitted signals parts from different range lines. Assembling provides the echo signals array encapsulation from the rectangular elements of survey subswath which size is equal to the slant range-resolution by synthetic aperture length.Alternative solution: the method for non-focused artificial antenna zooming which uses the vehicle movement for the synthetic antenna array formation by the received signals delaying and summation.Technical effect: canceling the structural restriction on the minimum value of product of resolution elements sizes along inclined distance and path one. Possibility of the potential resolution achievement on given distance.
