Abstract
A plant for processing liquid radioactive wastes from temporary storage reservoirs comprises a unit for removal of hydrocarbon admixtures from initial liquid radioactive wastes, unit for removal of mechanical admixtures, unit for processing liquid radioactive wastes purified from hydrocarbons and mechanical admixtures, unit for final purification of processed liquid radioactive wastes, evaporation block and nonradioactive material processing block. The unit for processing liquid radioactive wastes purified from hydrocarbons and mechanical admixtures is made as a system of initial separation of radioactive and nonradioactive fractions which comprises a tank for receiving and accumulation of liquid radioactive wastes purified from hydrocarbons and mechanical admixtures, tank for receiving and accumulation of circulating eluent, three-way cock with actuator, feeding pump, apparatus for initial extraction of radioactive and nonradioactive fractions, conductometric transducer, radiometric sensor, block for separation of radioactive and nonradioactive fractions and system for automatic control and monitoring of the process of initial extraction of radioactive and nonradioactive fractions. Input of the system for automatic control and monitoring of the process of initial extraction of radioactive and nonradioactive fractions is connected to the conductometric transducer, output is connected to the three-way cock and to block for separation of radioactive and nonradioactive fractions, and the block for separation of radioactive and nonradioactive fractions is made as series-connected(N+1) three-way cocks with actuators, wherein N– number of radioactive and nonradioactive fractions formed in the apparatus for initial extraction of radioactive and nonradioactive fractions.
