Abstract
An electric discharge installation for disintegration of metallurgical silicon comprises two in-series mounted discharge chambers connected by a pipe, each of which is equipped with a classifier and an electrode connected to a pulse current generator, the first chamber is equipped with a loading pipe located on the side of chamber, and the second one – with an unloading pipe, which is located at the bottom part of chamber, a transport mechanism of starting material, which is made in the form of a vertically mounted screw conveyor connected to the unloading pipe of the second chamber, wherein it is equipped with two additional discharge chambers, which are arranged in series and connected by a pipe, and an additional screw conveyor, which is mounted vertically and connected to the unloading pipe located at the bottom of the second additional discharge chamber, and the additional loading pipe of the first discharge chamber is connected to the unloading pipe of conveyor screw, the classifiers of each discharge chamber are suspended on the lids of chambers by shock-absorbing springs, and the loading pipes of all discharge chambers are equipped with an elastic damper.
