An arrangement for protection of coastal and sea constructions against destructive wave effect includes facility for wave suppression fixed with respect to the bottom and the coast line. The facility for wave suppression is arranged as a semi-permeable screen comprising a set of gates fixed on the frame with possibility of opening upwards by wave ridge, installed in horizontal positions on vertical props arranged normally with respect to direction of expected wave front.
