Abstract

A method for complex processing of sludge of metallurgical and mining enterprises involves the preparation of pulp disintegration of incoming raw materials, ultrasonic treatment, creating two streams, magnetic separation, electric separation, drying. In the process of disintegration when removed from the primary raw materials oversized inclusions, larger than 5 mm in either direction. From the resulting product slurry is prepared in a ratio of 1:3-1:5 of the solid substance in a liquid. The resulting pulp is treated in a stream with high-amplitude ultrasonic vibrations with floating frequency of ultrasound to full disintegration of the sludge particles. The gravity separation is carried out, in which two streams are formed, which streams comprise zinc, lead-containing products. One of the streams – a drain comprises particles less than 50 microns, the second stream – underflow contains particles which size exceeds 50 microns. Each of the streams is treated by high and / or ultra high frequency current, high-amplitude ultrasonic treatment is carried out with the floating frequency and magnetic separation is carried out in which during the draining the ferrous product is further extracted. The process of treatment of weak magnetic substances is carried out with ultrasonic high-amplitude oscillations at a frequency which leads to the formation of cavitation bubbles which size is comparable with the size of the particles being processed - from 2 to 50 microns. The thickened product after further treatment with high amplitude ultrasonic vibrations is separated in hydrocyclones with producing a drain with high zinc content. The resulting stream is directed into the outlet flow and it is fed to the primary magnetic separation. Secondary the underflow is also directed to magnetic separation with forming strongly and weakly magnetic iron-containing products and the non-magnetic product consisting from carbon in modifications graphite and carbon, and also silica sand. The non-magnetic product is dried and separated in the electroseparators on carbon-containing product and silica sand.
